About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world.

ABOUT ME

I am from the land of smiles. You will see that I smile a lot :). I love travel. It is a good way to explore and see different cultures. No country is better than the other. They are just different. We should learn to accept the different of each culture.

I am a foodie, so when I travel I love to visit the local market and try the local food. I am not drink but my husband love wine. So we also love to visit local winery and taste local wine.

My first trip out of the country was Japan as an exchange student when I was in collage. I had such a wonderful experience. Now I live in USA and I try to take a big trip or two every year.

For me the CS is not about the free room but it is the way I dream of travel. Stay with local people, get to know their culture, exchange the idea. Who know we might end up be friend forever.

PHILOSOPHY

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS a while back but never really look in to it. Until recently, I read about CS again on the travel blog. So, I decide to become a member.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first CF experience was in Japan. After that we did couchsurfing in USA, Chile and Turkey. We had such a wonderful experience. The friendship and kindness of CF friends are something special that money can't buy. We cannot wait to surf again. We still keep in touch with our couchsurfing friends and we get to host some of them in return.

Interests

I love traveling and finding places to eat and socialize with local people and get to know the culture and fabric of that particular neighborhood. We have friends for life during these travels and that is very rewarding. We usually spending our time planning our next trip or great food finds.
