ABOUT ME

Hmmm... what to say...
I'm an Aussie, but disguised as a Kiwi.
I didn't know what to do at Uni so I went overseas 'cause I knew I wanted to travel. Got the bug about 6 years ago when I went to Japan. I gave myself the challenge of working my way around the world and I loved it while it lasted. Now I'm thinking about what to do with my life
Ahh... hmm.. I'm odd in a good way. I'm pretty open. Love a laugh and have been called Blunt. But thats a good thing, why beat around the bush?

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have my own philosophy yet, still trying to figure that one out. I like the well known sayings, maybe it was the way I was brought up.
Just treating people how you like to be treated.
Think before you speak.
What goes around comes around.
I like trying to make people happy :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is like Pringles... once you pop you can't stop...
I love talking to people who have not yet found CS, and the looks you sometimes get, like "you're crazy" ...
I surfed loads in Europe, and have been doing a bit of hosting here in Aus through my cousin :)
I love the instant friendships .. (just add water ;))

Interessen

So many things...
Art, love to paint, love photography, I love animals and miss my dog heaps, walking/hiking/camping, if I had a choice between the countryside and the city it'd be the outdoors, I love to laugh, love listening to music, learning to cook, like to make people happy, to smile... the list could go on ..

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books, havn't read many. Who has time for books lol.
Music, like alot of different types. Off the top of my head, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Butler Trio, Blink 182, Steve Miller band (HAHAHA), Golden Oldies, Coldplay, and lots of bits and pieces. I love the soundtracks to the movies Candy, Lord of the Rings, Shawshank Redemption...
Don't get me started on movies.. LOVE THEM!

What else... I tend to forget all the things I've done.. I've kept a diary for years, and one day when I read back on it (or should I say them) I will be reminded of all those feelings and small incidences that may not mean much to others, but bring out emotion in me :)
