Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
To take Europe by STORM! Well, by train really. This journey is to be had with best friend, backpack and crossed fingers. We hope to meet some great people, share stories and surf some couches.
ABOUT ME
About me...well, I have an almost insatiable passion for travel and I have been incredibly fortunate in what I have been able to do/see. I love the arts, especially dance. If I could have any super power it would be the ability to speak any and every language. I grew up in a small town in the mountains of Virginia and I've lifted those roots and gone global. Cultural diversity fascinates me, I love to eat and if I hear salsa music I will stop and dance to it, regardless of where I am. A true Sagittarius, that's me.
PHILOSOPHY
I haven't really thought of my personal philosophy. As I wrote above, I really just try to be a good person, accepting myself and others as we are all human, but expecting better. Life is both short and long..short in that we should live each day (or try) to its best, and long in that our actions have consequences - we have to be conscientious
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this point, I don't feel I can do much for CS - just spread the word after having done it myself. It's an amazing tool for people to travel, meet others and have a free place to crash along their way. I fully support it.

Algo increíble que he hecho
Upon planning my year abroad in Spain I had everything ready to go for '09 -'10. In July of '09 my father passed away suddenly and without warning. He was the sole caregiver of my brother Daniel, who is severely handicapped. I left my job early, and my plans to leave for Spain, to take care of him for nearly a year. While there is much room for grief, sadness, senses of loss - I am grateful to have strengthened my relationship with Daniel and to have proved to myself what I am capable of.
