ABOUT ME

I have been a person of many trades and life experiences. Done a little construction, odd jobs, retail, bartending, and got a degree in Biochemistry which i have worked in labs. I enjoy it but feel i need to travel that is the one thing i want to do and meet more people. I enjoy going to a good gig/show, vegas, bowling, playing pool, or just having a beer with a friend. I love music a lot. Of course i have lived around l.a. a lot of my life and know quite a few places to go to, plus there is always disneyland.

Lastly i have been told by quite a bit of surfers i should post this since they wanted to bring me a nice gesture. Of course not expecting since i am glad with just meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

guess would have to say I just go with it. I try not to waste an opportunity for a new adventure or a way to bettering myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well i have been off this for awhile. Though I usually try to give advice to travelers. I still meet up with some other surfers and events. Now I have a situtation that i can travel more and I am taking it.

Music: too much to list but to name a few misfits, narcoleptic youth, street dogs, anti-flag, ramones, vivaldi, english beat, social distortion, flogging molly,, weezer, stray cats, big bad voodoo daddies, varukers, and 80's too. Yeah just not a big fan of the rap or country. Though i always try to support the local musicians and my friends.
Movies: Swingers, monty pythons, boondock saints, evil dead series, kevin smith movies especially "dogma", eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, and harry potter.
Books: varies a lot but best is scifi and fantasy especially that work and school is all facts. However i read anything i can get my hands on if i have time.

Going to small villages and seeing a content life at living. Especially that people were really nice in parts of Italy. Also I am always awestruck at the beauty of natural scenery. Hopefully see the redwood forest or yosemite soon.
