Grew up in W. Va. Traveled in Central and S. America '70-73, South America again in '89 and 2000-2001, Israel, Europe 2004-2005, Canada, Australia-New Zealand in 2010, across the US many times, southern Africa 2016., Antarctica in 2017, China and Iceland in 2018.

I respect the views of Jeffrey Sachs on ways to solve the problems we currently face in dealing with the developing world. I watch Fareed Zacaria on CNN each Sunday and would like to see such thinkers included in our government. My maxim concerning the deplorable state of our politics in the US is this: When you elect a clown, expect the circus.

One point I must emphasize: both of us are gay men, we are married, if either of those facts bothers you in any way, then please seek other accommodations.
