About Me

CURRENT MISSION
getting out of the comfort zone

PHILOSOPHY
you get what you give!
Miracles start to happen, when you give as much energy to your dreams as you do to your fears.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." (Mark Twain)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy and recommend both hosting and surfing

Interests

I value face-to face encounters, learning what the other person´s life is about and trying to understand why he/she thinks/feels that way.
The most important aspects in my life are
- the people I love and those who surround me
- music (listening to it as well as playing Instruments myself and singing as much as possible) which allows me to connect with people, and
- doing sports, espescially soccer, but also hiking and other outdoor activities.
Furthermore i like foreign languages and of course travelling and all the experiences which come with it!

Music, Movies, and Books

a good book is very valuable to me. Recently, I read the Millenium-Triologie (S. Larsson). The author who´s books I appreciate and strongly recommend is Jodi Picoult. I like K. Follet and J. Grisham too.
The most touching book i´ve ever read was "Zwei Frauen" (translated: "two women") by Diana Beate Hellmann - also very recommendable!

Regarding music there´s a wide range of what I enjoy, what i like most is everything i can sing to. I play the violin, also the guitar a bit and I´m trying to learn playing piano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sleeping in the open air at the death sea in Israel

experiencing the deepness of nonverbal conversation due to language barrier

volunteering to work in a nature preserve in the desert, where I experienced night-jogging close to the Jordan border

bikingtour from Austria to Czech Republic (with a lot of luggage)

doing a street action (concerning refugees) in Potsdam

travelling through Ecuador and climbing the peak of Iliniza Norte (5126m)

to be in love, to love and to be loved
