ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY
The Dalai Llama's Guide Instructions for Life:
Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
Follow the three R's:
- Respect for self.
- Respect for others.
- Responsibility for all your actions.
Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.
Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.
Don't let a little dispute injure a great relationship.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
Spend some time alone everyday.
Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.
Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you'll be able to enjoy it a second time.
A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.
In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don't bring up the past.
Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.
Be gentle with the earth.
Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.
Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.
Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.
— Dalai Lama XIV
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
spreading great energy, positivity and good vibes! I enjoy epic adventures and also peaceful evenings at home also. Balance is the key to everything! Love hosting and being hosted, giving is receiving!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Incredibly grateful for all CS experiences thus far, I have been hosted by wonderful individuals who have shown me their cities from their perspective. Connections and friendships I've made have been truly amazing. As a traveler, I can say I uphold the utmost respect and am an independent (low maintenance) individual but one who is fun-loving, extroverted and up for anything. Looking forward to many more CS experiences abroad! :) As a host, I have enjoyed meeting new friends and travelers, each lends a new perspective and every experience has been enjoyable. Mi Casa es Su Casa!

Music, Movies, and Books
Wes Anderson Films are favorites, Indie and electro music, all music really. The Miracle of Mindfulness, The Four Agreements, The Edge Effect and the Celestine Prophecy have taught me a great deal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have embraced hundreds "heart to heart", I have seen thousands "eye to eye"and I have witnessed first hand, a tremendous amount of good in an infinite amount of people all over the globe! Specific Global Gathering highlights: dancing amongst the happy and free at the Berlin Techno Music Festival, rowing across the Grand Canal in the Palace of Versailles and cliff jumping into the Mediterranean sea on a Yacht Week Trip in Greece :)
