About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to understand intercultural misunderstandings

ABOUT ME

Dear friends all over the world,

i am easy going and love meeting nature and people. After 5 Years of working, I took two years off and started two work again this year. Beside my work I am working for Greenpeace to prove that change is possible!

A nice day with me depends on the actual mood... could be some outdoor actions, some sports together, going out for party (not to often anymore), or some nice conversations at a camp fire.

Feel free to contact me any time!

I haven't been that actice at CS, but have been active @hospitalityclub.org for years. (profile name: truman66de)

PHILOSOPHY

Life's to short! Live the moment!
Don't be sad - change things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to show people around
I like to stop for hitchhikers :)
I liked to host a lot of people (but since two years we are living on very small space, so hosting is quite hard..)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made a lot of different experiences while being a guest or hosting people.

My most intercultural one was maybe an older Japanese woman, whos biggest pleasure (on her birthday!) was, to drive me and a friend around in Japan and invite us for cold noodles and raw fish. (she didn't speak any english, and we any japanese...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sure, it's amazing to visit the Mt. Everest Base Camp or the Great Barrier Reef... but making my own knife out of a raw piece of iron somewhere in NZ was at least the same impressive.
