ABOUT ME

I hear grandote in the streets and at almost 2 meters I can always see the stage at concerts in Latin America. I first visited LAm in 2008 and have enjoyed the rice and beans since. Though the beer could use some color or hops. I left a stable job in a safe industry in the states to live abroad and for that the family thinks I am crazy. I think y'all understand the wanderlust urge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've taught English, I'm always open to helping other CSers practice their English. I'm interested in picking up those darn subtleties of Spanish and its always fun to learn the basics of other languages.

I've lived in Guatemala and Ecuador, besides of course the States. Ask me if you have any questions.

Courchsurfed in vienna for the first time in 2007 and thought it was a great experience -- you learn so much more about the land you're in than guidebooks.

Couchsurfeé en Vienna, Austria para la primera vez en 2007. Creía que era una grande experencia -- se aprende mucho mejor sobre el país que libros de guía.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

El cima de volcan Cotopaxi, el amanecer en el pacifico y el atardecer en el atlantico, la luna y el sol del cima de Tajumulco, la lava a medio metro de mi cuerpo, la cara de una gata (mascota) antes de atacarme, mi alarma muerta que no me despertaba para una reunion importante, el sistema de transporte en Nueva York, la perdida de derechos de libtertad en EEUU, algo que me recorda de la casa en el momentico perfecto, la cara iluminada de un estudiante que ya entendió un concepto, un sandwich de chikfila y una cerveza de Sweetwater.

The summit of volcano Cotopaxi, sunrise on the Pacific and sunset on the Atlantic, the sun and the moon on Tajumulco, lava a few feet from my body, the face of a cat (household) about to attack me, my dead alarmclock that should have waken me for something important, the loss of civil liberties in the United States, the public transit of NYC, a reminder of home right when you need it, the lit up face of a student that just got something, a chickfila sandwich and a Sweetwater beer.

Enseño inglés y estoy interesado en aprender bailar de salsa y mejorar el manejo de español. Además puedo dar consejo sobre lugares en que he vivido.
