About Me

CURRENT MISSION

What difference is there between us, save a restless dream that follows my soul but fears to come near you?

ABOUT ME

Things that make my heart beat faster: listening to the rain, a child's laughter, raindrops, vanilla ice-cream, lilly candles, orchids, the color red, humility, kindness, adventure, a good read, philosophical discourses, silence, unplanned roadtrips, bear hugs, dogs, listening to Edith Piaf whilst sipping on a chilled chardonnay. I enjoy biking , cooking, waking up to a beautiful sunrise, and I live for the arts, especially theater and music. Traveling is another passion and always feel that need to see a new place. I am very spontaneous and would hop on a plane to find that exotic restaurant in Morocco. I am friendly as a puppy and curious as a kitten. I long for cerebral stimulation. I find drama, wonder and excitement in ordinary experiences and encounters; and when I get carried away and inspired, I tend to get verbose.

PHILOSOPHY

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am back again. Had taken quite a detour from my regular travels with being in the PhD program. I have had some of them most memorable experiences with total strangers from Couch Surfing. Randomness is the essence of CS lifestyle and from Koh Phangan, Thailand to Napa Valley in California...Ive met some amazing people, shared stories, a drink, a peace pipe.
