ABOUT ME

I'm a Japanese guy originally from Okayama, Japan, but have been living in Frankfurt, Germany for the past 5 years, and before that, had been living in the US for 15 years (the first 4 years doing a undergraduate study in Providence RI, and the next 3 years working in NYC, and the last years in Charlotte, NC).

In the Spring of 2008 (a year after I got my green-card), I quit my job at a bank, and since then, have been traveling around abroad half the time each year (I'd like to travel for a longer period continuously, but I can't due to my green card requirement). In 2008, I traveled in South America, the southern Africa, and the middle east, and in 2009, I've so far traveled in India, Nepal, China, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Morocco and Spain. I plan to continue traveling around the world for the next 2 or 3 years (as long as the money lasts :).

I'm a financial system engineer by trade, and have worked for numerous different banks in the past, am currently working for CommerzBank (formerly Dresdner Bank) in Frankfurt, Germany.
