About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Moving to Montréal to live, work, and study, and to experience life on the other side of this great country.

ABOUT ME

Obligatory Travel-Related Quotes!!!

"Not all those who wander are lost..."

- J.R.R Tolkien

"I think whatever I shall meet on the road I shall like,
and whoever beholds me shall like me,
I think whoever I see must be happy."

Song of the Open Road - Walt Whitman

"I took a ferry to the highway. Then I drove to a pontoon plane
I took a plane to a taxi and a taxi to a train.
I've been traveling so long.
How am I ever going to know my home when I see it again?"

- Joni Mitchell - Black Crow

What's my deal you ask?

I discovered CouchSurfing in 2008 when I went to Montréal for the jazz fest, and sure enough I fell in love with it right away. I love meeting new, interesting people, and it's great to have something in common.

I'm a student, seemingly by trade. I'm going into my 4th year of university and I've studied everything from, music to business to french and communications. Problem is, I'm just interested in everything. That's why I set out on travels, to learn more, experience more, and gain that kind of wisdom one only finds in being in transit.

What else?

I love music, coffee, and design, and can talk at length to those things. Also, I like being outdoors, cycling, swimming, and hanging out in the park. I like classic Nintendo games, alternative rock, and quirky or intriguing films. I love languages and currently I'm in the midst of a love affair with french.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy in a way that makes others happy too.
