ABOUT ME

I am from a small, beautiful fishing village in the North West of Scotland and if you can't pronounce my name don't worry- nobody outside of Scotland can.
I am currently studying medicine in Dundee (Scotland) and as a summer job I travel through Europe playing the bagpipes and wearing a kilt (I am a Scottish stereotype). My current mission is to travel round Spain with my Mexican girlfriend and improve my Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, host and attend events. At the moment I'm meeting as many French/Spanish people as possible to improve my French/Spanish.

I love coucshurfing and have met many interesting and inspiring people through it. Couchsurfing is the best way I've found to meet local people and I love to get the local perspective on the culture of the country.

I always like to cook for my hosts to repay them for letting me stay. I'm trying to expand my repertoire of recipes this summer so it would be good to have guinea pigs to practice on.

Interests

Bagpipes- I have been playing them for over half my life.

I am learning French at the moment. The language of Voltaire has never taken such a battering.

Cooking- I'm still developing my style but I am always happy to cook for hosts
