ABOUT ME

(Kristi here) We just returned from ten months in our trusty cargo van to set up a new home in PA...lotsa lovin' goes out to all those crazy folks who made our trip so incredible! Now, let's see...Sean's doing some part-time contract work on residential buildings in NYC while he gets a woodworking shop set up, I'm working per diem for a local accounting firm. That's the work side of us - the play side involves a lot of laughter, cards, and music. We do a lot of shows, festivals, and the like. I've recently begun exploring my culinary skills - have officially expanded my menu to include this great chicken/cheese/basil/ham thing that was an attempt at chicken cordon bleu and came out great. Sean spends most of his time making things to hang on our new walls, but will soon be putting out a wide array of beautiful and funky wood crafts for sale.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed in everything from a dorm room to a double wide trailer turned clubhouse for big kids (thanks Paul and Suzanne). Couch surfing has been a blast. Excited to be on the hosting end finally!

Books...I just put down Tom Robbins to finish this interview up. Love him dearly. Too many others to list. Music...goodness...Widespread Panic (yeah Bhama!) the Dead, the Doors, the Who, Allman Bros, Animals, Beatles, Benevento Russo Duo, Bob Dylan, Bob Weir, Beastie Boys of course, Burning Spear (currently playing), Chuck Berry, Counting Crows (yeah two C's), Derek Trucks Band, Eric Clapton (ha ha, couldn't think of an "E"), f??? Grand Funk, will get through the rest of the alphabet another time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

OK, so I had a four bedroom house filled with stuff, and then I downsized everything I owned to fit in a van. Combined with Sean's three bedroom house filled with stuff. That was pretty amazing to me. In more ways than one.

Well, I can't stand a loose doorknob. If you've read this far, you probably know I've spent a few years fixing and building things. I don't know how much fixing and building you will learn from me, but I like fishing, I like music, and I like funky stuff, so I guess if these fill any of your interests, you can feel free to quiz me all you like.
