ABOUT ME

My parents are Eastern European and I grew up in a multi-lingual house. They always encouraged me to travel and experience the world, and hence every opportunity I get, I'm out! I've taken international trips from 1 week to (as of now), almost a year! I'm a fitness and health addict, and that works for me because I'm a physiotherapist! I'm easy going, clean, respectful and am relatively new to couch surfing!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My home has been an unofficial "couch" for many years now. I've welcomed people (friends of friends, friends) from England, States, Spain, Serbia, and more from a few days to months. So although I'm new to couch surfing, I feel like I've always been a member.

As I joined while traveling, I have had so far successful and great experiences in South Africa, India, and Bahrain!

Books: I've read so many during my recent travels: Long Walk to Freedom, Planet India, Shantaram, What is the What, Of Mice and Men, Steig Larson series, Little Bee, the Help, Celloist of Sarejevo, Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, White Tiger, Holy Cow, Alchemist.
Music: International music (especially latin and the Putumayo series)

Attending the WORLD CUP 2010 in South Africa, climbing 5200 steps to get to Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka to see an amazing sunrise, seeing polar beers in Greenland, lived at an orphanage in Ghana for a month while doing physio volunteering, ice trekking Perito Moreno in Argentina, scuba diving with sharks in Durban, SA AND in Gili Islands, Lombok (Indonesia), zip-lining in Honduras, Gorilla trekking in Rwanda, seeing Northern Lights in Greenland, being on a zodiak in Antarctica among the clear and clean waters and seeing a nursing elephant seal (as well as many many penguins!), and too much more!
Basically, I like to live life in the moment.
And can't forget to mention 3 amazing bungee jumps! One off a high wire in New Zealand, one off a tower in Macau, and one off a bridge in Cape Town, S. Africa! Yipeeee!!!
