About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I cannot say I've fully experienced a place until I've climbed a tree there! After spending the past 4 months on the road (in Mexico and western Europe) I'm looking to stay in the same place for a few months - specifically, while I pursue my master's in Copenhagen. Hopefully I can find a climb-able tree during my time in Denmark!

ABOUT ME

My friends have told me that I am gung-ho, enthusiastic, and talented. When with solid friends, I am up for just about any adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

There are wonderful people in the world! So many wonderful people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being myself in all situations! And being present - going to unfamiliar environments and just trying to absorb it all, even if I'm not saying much!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much specific experience with CouchSurfing but I have been hosted by wonderful people across the globe!

Interests

Meeting people and experiencing their lives is absolutely fascinating for me! I love seeing what people prioritize in what they say and do. For example, I've stayed with people in Slovakia that were incredibly family-oriented and it was lovely. Then right after that I headed to Budapest and was shown the city by someone who shared his love of the history and culture of the place. Both experiences were wonderful as I learned so much from these different experiences!
In my spare time (as you might guess) I enjoy spending time with people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Strumming the ukulele. Playing pianos I stumble upon in public places. Reading Harry Potter in foreign languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- taking a train up the mountain in Alishan, Taiwan to view the sunrise. We were above the clouds and it blew me away to see the different colours emerging on this May morning!
- Splashing in the waterfalls in Banfora, Burkina Faso. It was absolutely refreshing - such a break as I was in the country during the dry season and it was incredibly hot!

Teach, Learn, Share

Basic ukulele! Piano lessons!
