I love travelling and meeting people, I enjoy good company with lots of laughs and interesting conversations. The best thing after talking to someone is feeling your horizon got a little bit broader and your heart a little wider.
I'm a little bit of a thrill seeker sometimes and even though I can be awesomely lazy I love a good hike in the right surroundings and with the right people. I always try not to take life too seriously and to do what I love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from other countries and dive into their culture and I think couchsurfing is the best way to do so. Besides that I guess what I like about most people here is that they are open-minded and have a lot to share - opinions, stories, moments - and I'm happy to be able to exchange mine with theirs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different types of music - be it electronic or acoustic, I love the way it can make you travel in your mind, make you emotional or just free your head from everything that puts you in a negative mood. My favourite artists include The xx, sZa, Bonobo, sbtrkt, but also Metronomy, tunng, Beirut, Bombay Bicycle Club and so many others that I'm not even able to list here.

Just a few examples of movies I loved or that at least stuck in my mind: Amelie, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effect, Precious, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Elling, Shutter Island, Inception, Fargo, Grand Budapest Hotel, Gilbert Grape... the list is endless as well!

I literally like everything by Dürrenmatt! I haven't been reading much lately, but the first books that come to my mind are The Old Man and the Sea, Everything is Illuminated and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - you get the idea :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the last 25km to reach las Torres del Paine in the Chilean Patagonia in one day - absolutely breathtaking place! The whole 4-day hike was gorgeous!
