ABOUT ME

i don't know how to word myself well and i'm sure you could make a much better summary. all i know is that i love the things that make life precious - cultures, intercultural understandings, love, travel, and peace. i'm very eager to learn languages and anything about anyone really - music is a massive passion of mine, as is the journey to be free and self-actualise. i'm open and kind, and will treat anyone with the respect and generosity i hope to receive from others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

at the moment i am travelling around europe/UK and will be mostly surfing, but as soon as i get back to australia im happy to host anyone who visits the land down under :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have been lucky enough to couchsurf in a slowly growing number of places around UK and outer Europe. It has been phenomenal!!! Every person I have had the honour of staying with has inspired me in some way, and taken me into their worlds and completely shaped my experience positively. Im addicted!

music (50s, 60s, 70s rock, pop, motown, folk/ world music/ gospel even!) photography - capturing a moment, arts and crafts, anything vintage or nostalgic, travel obviously. philosophy or any interesting conversation. a good read. you.

The alchemist, a thousand splendid suns, Tao of Poo,... really too many to list, most of them I dont think I have read or seen yet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am priveledged to come from an amazing part of the world (Far North Queensland, Australia) so growing up with reef and rainforest was pretty amazing! But the grass is always greener and now I'm searching for equally amazing sights in Europe!

The most amazing thing I have done and seen lately would be giving my prized possession little purple ukulele to a little Sri Lankan, Italian speaking girl in Venice. It was time to let it go, and the joy she got from it may have matched my own.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is something to be learnt from everyone I feel - I'm not sure what I can teach you yet though! Perhaps a little bit of Japanese, or how to make a chi-ball? Just participating in conversations of any sort means we could learn something from one another!
