ABOUT ME

I am passionate and enthusiastic personal coach that works everyday on not taking life to seriously. I have an upbeat personality and will always look for the positive in the situation at hand - I would say this is one of my natural strengths. I am energised by meeting new and interesting people. New Zealand is where my heart and home is, however i have been living abroard for the last 6yrs, after 5yrs in London, my partner and I have moved to Hong Kong where we know hardly anyone. This is throwing up some very unexpected challenges which we are trying to met head on. I am currently in the process of trying to find my people and create a solid foundation for this new life as well as start up my coaching practise in this new land.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The joy of couch surfing is seeing more than a tourist would see... the secret little markets... the beautiful little beaches... where to get the best coffees. I would love to show you my gems, and experience yours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have mainly only hosted - never had a bad experience, I love sitting down with a big bowl of red wine and chewing the fat. However the few surfing experiences and the help from the community when travelling has been epic and thoroughly enjoyable. `

Interests

I enjoy good food, good wine and good people. I have just got into playing the Ukulele, very badly. As with most people on couch surfing travel is an itch and a passion. I can't wait to explore more of Hong Kong and get under the skin of this city as well as experience more of South East Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not to fussed with movies however Can't stand thrillers or horrors...

Music - where do I begin anything Kiwi, I have also just got into Eagles of Death Metal, Artic Monkey and Modest Mouse.... anything down to earth with a good beat, nice message and vocal harmony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent 5 months volunteering in Uganda living the simple village life and backpacking around East Africa as a single female traveller. Lived in London the most vibrant city in Europe for 5 years. I started travelling 6 yrs ago and have never really stopped.

Teach, Learn, Share

My perants always said "we will show you NZ, you can discover the World" So I can share with you my insights into NZ and good places to travel - things to do etc... I want to learn about the world and your experiences in it. I enjoy learning from all kinds of people, I like conversations the get beneath the surface chit chat.
