ABOUT ME

I'm a small-town girl living in the big city of Toronto.

I live my life to the fullest and try to find something positive in every situation.

I have travelled to every province in Canada with the exception of Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island. I've lived in Toronto for the past 10 years and have also lived in other various cities in Northern Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Jasper, Alberta.

I have a great love of travelling and have some really fantastic stories of people I've met and places I've been. I have often stopped and looked around to see if there is some sort of hidden camera following me around when crazy things happen!!

Recently I have decided to combine vacation with doing something good and positive in the area I'm travelling to.

In 2010 I raised a large sum of money and hiked in the Grand Canyon with a group of people raising money for the Canadian Diabetes Association.

In my spare time I'm rarely at home. I can be found out and about doing things with friends and seeing festivals and activites in the city.

In September 2011 I participated in a volunteer teaching programs with Pueblo Ingles in Spain. It was a truly amazing experience. We had equal numbers of Anglos and Spainiards and over the 8 day program I learned a lot about myself, made some new friends and learned about the Spanish Culture. I'll definitely go back next year! :)

I've hosted many amazing people in my home in Toronto and also have had the opportunity to surf on some couches in Spain and Miami! All great experiences!

My newest activity is Moksha Hot Yoga :) I also like Running, hiking, exploring new restaurants and sites in the city, road trips, music, dancing, dinner with friends and anything that makes me think!

Movies: Pretty much anything goes with the exception of horror movies.

Music.. :) Well anything that get me moving! House, Electronic, Trance, R&B, Jazz, Classic Rock. I love to dance!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last October I hiked in the Grand Canyon. I'd have to say that the preparation and journey leading up the the actual event was amazing and getting to experience the beauty and wonder of the Canyon itself will be forever in my mind. Pictures do not do it justice.
