About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Desperately want to host someone to pay back my couchsurfing debt and so that I can meet travellers even though I am currently unable to travel myself!!

ABOUT ME

I am passionate about the environment, animals and people. LOVE cycling, bushwalking and bird watching....basically anything to do with nature. Enjoy a good laugh, food and fun. Want to build my own house one day :)
At the moment I am in a bit of a rush to catch a train!...will improve this later!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal phillosophy has always been to live in a way that causes no suffering and reduces suffering of all sentient beings. I believe we only have one life as do all the other living things on this earth and therefore it is our duty to make sure that we make all of those lives as pleasant as possible....I do not agree with the meat industry or anything that destroys the environment because these two things are responsible for making the lives of sentient beings miserable!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am a couch surfer and a wwoofer, but hope that one day in the not too distant future I can become a host for both organisations. I love meeting new like minded people....it's inspiring!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a number couches and met some other couch surfers!! Love it :)Really want some people to come and surf with me so I can re-pay my debts to my wonderful hosts by hosting other travelers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing experiences of my life have always been when I am cycling or travelling....cycling and tramping round the Sth island of NZ for 5 months just after I finished uni...I was only planning to go for 3 weeks, washing in rivers...no shower for 5 months! That was probably one of the most wonderful times in my life. Have cycled in lots of other places too, I just love being free and self sufficient.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, so guess I can share good, delicious, nutritious food....with a biological background I know a lot about nutrition and health as well as the environment and animals....big reader so enjoy discussing information and ideas about all sorts of stuff...especially interested in behaviour and brain stuff, both human and animal.
