CURRENT MISSION

I am currently living in Canada but leaving October 1st to move to Seoul, South Korea where I will take on a 1 year teaching contract.

ABOUT ME

I am a 20 Year old Canadian girl. I play competitive hockey and have been involved with the sport for 10 years.

I have a loving family and a great group of friends who I miss everyday!

PHILOSOPHY

While travelling through England, and different parts of Europe, I have felt stressed and uneasy. I have already made plenty of mistakes but I realize now that they will only make me stronger! At the end of the day, there are much worse things that could happen!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about the CS project through a friend who has done couch surfing. I hope that nice people will open up their homes for me so that I can do the same for them in Canada. Pay it forward.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in England for 6 months and took part on many small travelling adventures where I was able to meet many new friends through this website.

Interests

I am interested in learning all about the different countries around the world and I believe that CS is a great way to help people along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and music! I do like to read but I find it hard to take the time to sit down and open a book-- There is just so much going on in my life and so little time! The days are too short.

My favourite kinds of movies are Romantic Comedies. I like the bedtime films that do not require too much thought. Chick flicks all the way!!! I also enjoy the odd mystery too!

For music, I am a country girl so ofcourse TAYLOR SWIFT. I recently saw her in concert in Dublin, Ireland with some of my Canadian friends! I also love JayZ, Rihanna, Eminem, Katy Perry, Rascal Flatts-- You name it, I probably like it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I have done in my life is what I am currently doing right now: Studying and travelling ABROAD.

I am in the middle of the semester at Leeds Metropolitan University and I am taking the two weeks off in April to experience new sights. I look forward to it everyday!
