About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the whole world smile and see where I can be of any help. To leave the world in a better place than I found it would be most pleasant.
ABOUT ME
Slightly eccentric Englishman who, tired of the life in which one finds himself is looking at striking out and finding my way in this big, wide world. I believe myself to be an amiable, polite and respectful person (I know, exciting right?...) but I am very interested in all cultures and am keen to learn more.
Whilst I can't guarantee your enjoyment of my company, I am possibly the most laid back person in the world, and I really enjoy meeting new people and listening to new stories, everyone has their own to tell.
PHILOSOPHY
To not let mistakes become regrets, and trying to take that chance when it comes up, whatever it may be. I see the world as equal and wish to find out as much as I can about the world and people within it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Random adventure, there is often no rhyme or reason behind the trips I take, more just giving myself up relying on the world to put in my way good people and fun times.. so far.. so good :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First trip with CS just completed, and wow.. Amazing time was had. 2 weeks in sunny California, met some very cool people and had a great time. All the CS'ers I met were without fail friendly, and a little crazy (the good kind) and I know my path will cross with a few of them again somehow. a precursor to bigger and longer adventures, but a wonderful one indeed :)
Update - it has been a few years since I updated this but in that time I have had more surfing and travelling adventures across North America, getting to meet and stay with a variety of wonderful folks. I'm on here because it lines up with my ethos of shared exoerience and looking to make the best of the world around me, both those places I know and also those I am yet to see.
Interests
I love to learn, there is knowledge to be found everywhere. trying new languages, foods, cultures history and more.
