CURRENT MISSION

To make a genuine connection with people. I'm a wedding photographer and I love what I do. Photography is just the tool that connects me with people and I learned that through traveling. I love this quote:

'You are engineered and designed perfectly for your unique mission in life. You have been given just the right set of skills, placed into the proper circumstance, and graced with the appropriate challenges needed, for you to learn the lessons that will help you to succeed. When you are living with purpose, life burns that much brighter.'

I believe that the opportunity to tell someone's story through photography is the most wonderful, creative thing I can do to fulfill that unique mission. I also love it, and I feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be when I get to join people on a great day to create some memories.

I love to share my energy and pour it into my work. I love bright colors. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I like natural expressions, and I make sure that is what I capture. I love Philadelphia and I know it like the back of my hand since I've ridden my bike down every street for the past 11 years. I am motivated and inspired to be a visual storyteller.

Seeing new places, meeting new people and having new adventures is what it's all about.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, and usually find an instant connection with others who value this in their life. I've been to some amazing places, and looking forward to the journey evolving. I value relationships, I notice details, I love art, languages and expressing myself through them. Creative thinkers make the world more meaningful, interesting, and beautiful. Knowing and surrounding myself these people is important to me. One word? Energy. I have a lot of it. And I'm ready to run around people are are into activities. I love riding my bike anywhere and everywhere...it's how I get around since I don't have a car. I'm a big fan of other bicycle advocates. I love yoga, and feel like it's changed my life. I'm an open, positive, sun-loving lady. I'm happy, because I love what I do and I do what I love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first created a profile on couch surfing when I was traveling through South America. I've only used it a couple times at the recommendation of some good friends who use it all the time out west. Ready to make some new connections and get back to traveling whenever I get the chance!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a great guy in Oregon and one in New Orleans. So nice... there are some really great people out there who are willing to trust in good people that that things will work out. I believe that too.

I love people who love music. Hard to think...City and Colour, Kings of Convenience, Jose Gonzales, Fleet foxes, mumford and sons, ingrid michaelson, sia, kimbra, thievery corporation, michael jackson...funk, jazz, and it goes on.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I feel like everything that I've done in the last 10 years has led to where I am now, and it all contributes to the good. I've lived in England, and traveled all over Europe over many years. I traveled to South America and volunteered teaching photography in Peru, which was incredible...then continued on through Bolivia and Argentina for a few months, meeting amazing people and loving every minute. I've worked in Market Research, Advertising, and most recently managed an Americorps program for young people based around technology. I worked as a newborn baby photographer, then started my own freelance business from there, which has lead to starting my own business, which I now do full time as a photographer in Philadelphia. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm looking forward to the next road life takes me down.

I can show you how to use the manual functions on your camera and take some really fun pictures. I have tons of energy and love sharing it with others.
