About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I love travel. With in the past couple years I volunteered in a hospital in Guatemala while studying Spanish and spent the summer in Thailand doing a tourism marketing internship. I also studied in Barcelona for a few months.

I love music. I have pretty eclectic tastes from blue grass to blues, classical to grunge, under ground hip hop to mainstream pop. As long as they have some talent i will give it a listen.

I love meeting new people and being in new situations.

I just finished up grad school at U of N. Carolina, Chapel Hill in May. I lived all over the Midwest before grad school but this is my first time living in the loo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a traveler, I know what makes a good host. I am that host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I biked from UNC to New York City for charity and stayed with some great guys in Philly. They gave us an awesome bike tour of town and we tryed 3 different cheese steaks! When i got in to STL I surfed with a super cool guy! I tried to host some folks in my spare room when i was in living in Barca but my roomies weren't keen on the idea. Those are my only couchsurfing exps so far.

Interests

Anything i am interested in ehh? Is that including midget porn? JK, I suppose riding my bike, music, family would all be up there. I like to much stuff and don't really know where to stop so I will leave it with those 3.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The more I travel the I enjoy the little things, like the interesting people I meet as opposed to the "most amazing" things. I just saw Niagara Falls for the first time, It was pretty amazing, I liked seeing people from all over the world there.

It is always raining right next to the falls. I wonder if any unique plant spices have evolved in that very small micro-climate? I didn't see any but if I had, they would be on this list.
