My mission is to discover who I am and where my passions lie (and meet some interesting people along the way!)

ABOUT ME

I have been traveling my entire life but I always with my parents and never had much of a chance to plan my own trip. Therefore I guess I consider myself a new traveler who has lots of enthusiasm but even more to learn!

I am a vegetarian who has never been able to cross over into the world of veganism because of an intense love for cheese. I love to cook (although my skills are in training) and I am keen to try new foods.

I love to play sports (although I tend to be poor at them!) and stay active. My newest passions include running and wall-climbing!

I have hosted a few people in my apartment in Edmonton and have gone to the occasional CS meeting. I love the idea of a network of instant friends!

I would love to get more into photography but don't have the patience nor the eye to do it correctly at this point. I would happily go through your pictures that all your friends are too bored to see =)

Music: Everything!
Books: Currently reading a book about a female doctor in Peace River in the early 1900s - very fascinating
I like to read books about different places and cultures (Ie the Kite Runner, the Joy-luck club, Reading Lolita in Tehran, A fine Balance)
Movies: Depends on the mood I'm in...I really liked Run Lola Run, Goodbye Lenin!, Y tu mama tambien, Motorcycle diaries, Brokeback Mountain, most Hindi films and of course the sappy romantic comedies =P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Hiking the North Coast Trail on Vancouver Island - Intense. Awe inspiring. Humbling
2) Machu Pichu - Takes you back to a time that seems unimaginable

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a kathak dancer, which is a type of northern-indian style of dancing. If you are interested, I could teach you a move or two!
