Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a CS'er since (15 jan 2012). Having very active moments and moments that I am not active at all.
I surfed quiet a lot during my travels. Now I moved to Canada and the time has come to settle down and host every now and then.
As I have been surfing I want to give others the same kind of experience as I had.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
To start couchsurfing was a big experience, and till now I LOVE it! Its great to meet so many people in short time and everybody is helping out! Just really Amazing. And I also use the Hangout option sometimes, met some great people that way.
In my opinion its al lot better than hostel or guesthouse or hotel or whatever, locals know best.
Interests
Its great to do active things and and always looking for new adventures or new places to go for holidays.
I like to meet a lot of different types of people and enjoy the moments that as much as I can. Also I do enjoy the moments by myself and alone at times.
Anyway I am willing to try a lot of things out of my comfortzone. (to do and to eat). So if you got anything special... let me try! haha
I did a Vipassana Mediation course from 6feb 13- 17 feb 2013 in Tasmania Autstralia, again May 6th until 17th 2015 in Swiss and in 2016 in Sweden.
This gave me a new interest in my life and different perspective.
I worked a lot abroad and even on a Cruiseship.
Music, Movies, and Books
With music I like regeaton and Pop the most.
My favorite singer is Sarah Connor, and dutch singers Nick & Simon.
I love to watch movies, especially teenage movies. Sometimes adventure, comedy, horror and of course romantic movies.
I used to hate reading books, but in the last year I started to read more and mainly philosophy books like: "the power of now".
Of course you can also always make me happy with cartoon books (Donald Duck).
