Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the privige of surfing in Missoula & Great Falls, Montana; Honolulu, Hawaii; Miami, Florida; and a few places in Alaska, Texas, Nevada, & Arizona. All to amazing hosts, however when I travel I typically just go and don't have time to contact CSers. I tried a few times in Costa Rica, but by the time I would be able to check my emails I was in a different location.

I love meeting people and hearing about their experiences. They are the doorways to the world. Places I've never considered visiting have become favorite destinations because of a CSer's recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm blessed beyond words. To me, I've done too many "Amazing" things to list, but I would say almost every single one has been with a travel partner. I love to travel, but I love experiencing things with others even more.
A few:
Saw a humpback whale less than 20 feet away
Saw glaciers calving
Lived threw Mt. Augustine eruption (I was hundreds of miles away but the ash cloud turn day into night for three days.)
Swam with giant turtles
Skydiving
Been to Lambeau Field
And probably one of my favorites that never gets old...have enjoyed the Aurora Borealis many, many times.
