Overview
About Me
I'm a super chill sort of guy who loves talking about anything and nothing, watching good movies, playing games of any sort and eating and drinking with fun people. I'm sociable and easy to get along with but totally understand the joy and necessity of solitude and space.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had friends rave to me about couchsurfing for years and am just now deciding to take the jump. To me a huge part of the joy in traveling is in meeting people and making connections - I'm hoping this can be a way to do that, even at home by hosting.
Interests
Games, naturally, mainly RTS and RPG for the video kind, and fast-paced party ones for the physical kind; movies of all kinds, though I'm particularly partial to gloomy euroart and quirky indie americana mumblecore sort of stuff; biking, running, swimming, hiking, kayaking; learning languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too hard a question, instead - favorites from the last year: Music: Alvvays; Movie: Mommy; Book: The Corrections.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once fell off a 30 foot cliff and survived.
Teach, Learn, Share
My degree was in Polish history - though I still feel I have much to learn from the true locals, I can share my informed outsider's take on everything :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
An honest and enthusiastic curiosity; I'll listen attentively to whatever you want to tell me about where you live, and can provide insightful comparisons with the places I know well.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom
