Overview
About Me
I have a huge desire to experience everything I can in life. Doing this will surely require traveling so I am here. I love politics, sociology, soccer, and a variety of other topics. Being from the beach, I have an obsession with seafood but I love all foods. I am a recent college graduate who loves traveling and exploring. I now work in higher ed but I can make time to explore other things. I would love to accept guest but I have a roommate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was recommended by a friend to check out Couchsurfing. I don't have a lot of money so he believed this could be the best alternative. I have always had an interest in traveling and I also enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Couchsurfing seems like the place where I can achieve these goals. Hosting and traveling are both options I am interested in.

Music, Movies, and Books
Huge Batman fan so "The Dark Knight" is my all-time favorite action/crime movie. I also love learning about crime so Heath Ledgers "Joker" will go down as my favorite villain. I have a thing for romance movies too so "Call Me by Your Name" takes first place in that area.
My favorite book is "The Autobiography of Malcom X."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went Spelunking through caves in North Carolina about 2 years ago. Being mildly claustrophobic, this was a challenge but it was definitely an unforgettable adventure. Reaching the end of the cave and getting to see the miles of mountains and green lands was worth the trip. I hope to do more things like this in the future... maybe with some friends I meet through Couch Surfing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to go on runs but I more so love learning about languages, culture and history. African American history is where the majority of my attention goes but I love studying the history of racism and inequality in all cultures. I am a pretty good cook so maybe we can have a meal together, on me.
I prefer one on one interactions because it gives me the chance to learn more about a person individually but I also like group settings occasionally. I am always looking for something new to experience. I dislike staying inside for too long so I have to keep moving.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am still learning a lot so I am open to trying almost everything. If you need a companion, I am your person.
