About Me

I'm an avid traveler that has caught that travel bug. That bug has turned into travel flu, but I don't mind the symptoms. Feverishly dreaming about the next trip. Eyes wide open from seeing the beauty in diverse cultures, histories, and peoples. Restless leg syndrome from wanting to always explore a city, and hike all the mountains I can find. And finally, a hunger to hear to stories of other fellow travelers.

Born in Southern California now making South Carolina home base.

I love meeting new people and making friends where ever I go. I may be going to your city next. So let's get coffee, walk around your city, and enjoy the camaraderie of sharing our stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is an immeasurable experience, but it's even better when you don't stay in a hotel. Staying with a local or even a hostel is special and gives you an in depth experience you wouldn't have had otherwise. Staying in a hotel cuts you off from the most important part of a new city. The local people, and they knowledge and love they have of their city.

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people and share stories, coffee, and drinks. The best trips are always filled with the best people which leads to the best adventures and memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Current obsession is the chainsmokers. Muse is a close second. Love music that has good instrumentals, and guitar is also a favorite. My top genres are indie, pop, rock, alternative, probably more but I can't remember all the others. I have a strong taste for the likes of the Beetles, John Lennon, Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, I think you get the idea.

The Walking Dead has my heart. I'm kind of a syfy nerd. So I enjoy syfy movies.

Favorite books: Any of Jules Verne and books on ancient history. Specifically Aztec, Mayan, Egyptian, and Italian.

In general I'm a bit of a tech nerd. And I love ancient history. Might talk your ear off if you are too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked a volcano in Bali in the middle of the night hiked an Active volcano in Guatemala and watched it Erupt, scuba diving, camped in the Sahara Desert, went on a 5 day hike in the North of Guatemala in the jungle for my 30th birthday. Stood on top of a pyramid on my 30th birthday, and then went to the hospital.

What I Can Share with Hosts

People are always the best part of any travels. I love getting to meet people and hear their stories. And I know us avid travelers have a lot. I think it's important to meet people, because we can learn from each other and feel more connected not just to the place but to ourselves.

I can also cook, be great company, and be an all around great adventure buddy.
