About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world we live in. To experience life. To love every moment of it.
ABOUT ME
Aiyana (Kasie) and I are on a continuous adventure to become our best selves. We are constantly learning and know there is so much to gain from every experience. We are active, fun loving, peaceful, open-minded individuals. We love connecting with people; hearing about their experiences, their philosophy on life and their perspective on anything. We believe there is so much insight that can be gained from conversation and communion with anyone.
We are very much about personal development on every level; physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and communal. We want to learn all there is to learn! We love new experiences, cultures, and foods. We are willing to try most anything at least once!
We care a lot about the environment and humanity, and we are always seeking to help in the advancement of both in any way that we can.
PHILOSOPHY
Love everyone, respect all living things, take care your body, take care of the world you live in, speak truth, promote peace.
-"Realization without Utilization is Futile."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people who live in the area when traveling to a new place. I use couchsurfing because I enjoy connection with new people and hearing their stories. My wife and I enjoy traveling and couchsurfing has been an amazing resource, not only for places to stay but also as a way to connect with people.
Interests
We love to hike in beautiful environments; nature is something that really inspires us. We also like to run, bike and climb.
Community spiritual activities are also something that is very inspiring to us. Drum circles, meditations, yoga, kundalini exercises, and anything that has to do with the spiritual/metaphysical. We would love to visit more spiritual land marks.
As for our hobbies, we have a variety: we definitely love deep conversation, especially when it happens around a campfire; we like to play games; read; draw; paint; watch movies; listening to or making music is awesome, we have a Native American wooden flute; we love to play disc golf!; we are pretty much down for any activity as long as it is engaging and you are enthusiastic about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We went to Tassajara Hot Springs and Zen Mountain Center in the Ventana Wilderness just south of the Bay Area of California. We were there for 2 weeks. It was 12 miles down a winding gravel road, deep in a secluded valley. Being out in the wilderness and silence was more peaceful than we could have ever imagined it to be. There were no sounds of cars, no advertisements, no one yelling... it was so peaceful that at most times you could hear the creek rippling through. None of the distractions from everyday life were around. No cell phones, no TVs, no radios, no internet. It was just pure experience of people and nature the entire time. So amazing.
Another awesome experience was hiking through the old growth Redwood forests. It is like being inside a fairy tale. The whole time we were hiking, we were just thinking how it wouldn't be surprising to see an elf, a fairy, a hobbit, or an Ent walking through. So green, so peaceful, and so magical :)
