ABOUT ME

There is a great quote from the movie The Shawshank Redemption. "Get busy living or get busy dying." I feel like its time for me to get busy living. First thing I want to do is see the world and meet people from as many different walks of life as I can. As for everything else if you ever get the chance to know me im sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

PHILOSOPHY

You only have one chance (as far as I know) and I want to live life, this one chance, to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch and a futon available as well as a clean living room floor.
We like to cook in this house so if you are hungry, you have come to the right place!
Also, I am usually very good at responding to requests. I would say about 99% of all questions or requests I receive, I respond to within a few hours or so; so expect a response same day!

Every CS experience I have had up-to-date has been amazing! I cannot wait for many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

This would take all day, So I will just name a few authors, Richard Dawkins and James Clevell are both great, and as for music, just to name a few, The rolling stones, M. Ward, Regina Spektor, Phoenix, the foundations, Billy Joel, Donovan, Cat power, The mountain goats, Bob Dylan, The Cranberrys, The Fruit bats, The Eagles, Louie Armstrong, Jonathan Coulton, Steve Miler, The Shins, Simon & Garfunkel,The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, Sting, Nick Drake, Nico,Paul Simon, The Police, Do I need to say the beetles?, The Velvet Underground, The sex pistols. And as far as movies go, I am a sucker for romantic comedies. Everything from Stranger Than Fiction to Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finished the Tough Mudder obstacle course race in California last year and I once caught a alligator snapping turtle that was over a foot and half long, not that amazing but at least interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to write poetry and short stories. I would like to consider myself a pretty good cook, but know I have some room for improvement and I would love to learn more. My real passion is bigger picture stuff like morality, science, religion, life, philosophy, So any information I could give on those topics or receive is what I am looking for.
