About Me
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we won't be hosting until things calm down. You shouldn't be travelling right now anyway!
CURRENT MISSION
To be creative, happy, and healthy.
ABOUT ME
I love to get outside, for biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, snowboarding, and camping. I have lots of instruments to jam with, mostly string, so if you also can play that would be awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy pretty much anything with heart and soul in it, classical, jazz, bluegrass, country, folk, rock, blues, electronic, pop, soul, hip-hop, oldies, seriously it all sounds good when it's from the heart. But if I have to list a few, Radiohead, The Beatles, Iron and Wine, The Decemberists, Simon and Garfunkel, Townes Van Zandt, Mutual Benefit.
Some of my favorites books or at least most influential: Ishmael, 1984, Brave New World, The Alchemist, Siddhartha, Things Fall Apart, The Power of Now, The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, The Old Man and the Sea, Slaughter House Five.
Love all kinds of movies, but Waking Life is perhaps my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I road down the coast of California on my bicycle tour in the fall of 2010, going 800 miles in 2 weeks of travel. Before that, I hitchhiked, camped, and couchsurfed through Nor Cal, working on an organic farm for 2 months. Couchsurfing helped me all along the way! It was the most incredible thing I've ever done, and I made a few lifelong friends because of it.
Also hiked a marathon distance on the Napali Coast in Kauai. Switchbacks galore!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've accumulated some basic music theory knowledge recently. If you're just a beginner, I can teach you some cool things about the guitar or piano that may help you progress. I used to have chickens, so if you want any tips on how to keep them, we can talk.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A friendly smile. A conversation too. I can also cook and/or play music for my hosts! I will do the dishes (mine and yours) and clean up after myself, leaving my environment even better than I found it.
