Overview
About Me
I'm from New York. I am currently studying Chinese at National Taiwan University in Taipei. I am looking forward to hosing some adventurous and fun travellers as my schedule permits. I will be travelling intermittantly throughout the year and therefore unavailable to host. I am an avid traveler and look forward to seeing the world one trip at a time and meeting all the other amazing travelers out there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make friends, and experience new things. I believe the best way to become familiar with a country and it's culture is by spending time with the locals, in their element, doing what they do best, just living their day to day lives. I like to get away from the main tourist attractions and find little holes in the wall where real connections are made. Anything is possible! Let's make some memories!
Interests
I like to be outside. Snow and water sports are equally enjoyed, as much as a picnic or a bike ride. A bike ride down a narrow city alley or along the cliffs of a mountain path both sound like a great way to spend the day. I love arriving in a new place, learning my way around, and taking away the wonderful memories I've made with the kind local people who have time to chat with me.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as movies go I like Shawshank Redemption, Lord of War, and Blow.
My favorite books are The Little Prince, The Stranger, On the Beach, and Slaughter-House 5.
I like just about all genres of music except classical. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel, Kanye West, Mumford and Sons, and Swedish House Mafia are a few groups that come to mind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed traveling through China on a 150cc dirt bike. I started in September 2014 and traveled over 5000 KM starting in Shandong province and I sold the bike in Kaiping, Guangdong in January 2015. I was able to visit small villages and been the first foreigner that many of the local children have seen not on TV. I've ridden down dirt roads for hours without passing a single car. I've ridden through snow falling on the Tibetan Plateau in Sichuan Province at 3,500 meters above sea level. This trip has been amazing, scary, and unbelievable on my trustworthy dirt bike.
