About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Well, I'd say currently my mission is to find work for the winter in Oklahoma, back among friends and family till the spring. On the whole, my objective these days is to finish my book I've been working on for a couple years now, a personal travel narrative detailing experiences in both the Rockies and Great Plains.
ABOUT ME
I guess I am another one of those writers in the world struggling to find ways to fund their nomadic, happy, sad, exciting lives. I enjoy the national parks and I've spent several seasons working hospitality in various parks across the country. Since graduating college in 2010, I've worked in Yellowstone, Zion, and Olympic National Park. Bob Dylan and Jack Kerouac are crucial for me, as well as Edward Abbey and Gary Snyder and Cat Stevens. I consider myself a literary traveler, pushed and pulled by stories I read and good hearty poets.
I also love music. I always have my guitar and mandolin with me wherever I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Angels Landing Hike in Zion National Park on a full moon? I'd recommend that to anyone. In college once, on spring break, a buddy and I hitchhiked from Oklahoma City to Bakersfield, CA---made it back in time for class and everything.
