About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To share my love of travel with my growing family and friends. To learn how to adapt my travel style to being a travel family rather than a solo backpacker.
ABOUT ME
I started traveling when I was 19 and never looked back. I love being on the road, seeing new places, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures. I feel that Couchsurfing is the best way to truly see and immerse yourself in the place you are traveling.
I'm a friendly person who loves to travel, meet new people, and try new things! I'm always up for something new and exciting. I think that if you just go with the flow you will be able to experience things you never dreamed of. :)
I've been a member of Couchsurfing for years. I love this community of travelers and people interested in learning about other people's views and experiences! I have met several lifelong friends through Couchsurfing. I enjoy hosting, staying with hosts, and just meeting up with locals.
PHILOSOPHY
"I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move." Robert Louis Stevenson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to host people from all over the world when I am home. Tucson, Arizona isn't a big tourist area so most of my couch surfing experience is from surfing and from hosting many people with my friend Ngan in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a big believer in traveling rather than vacationing. I have couch-surfed several places and have met some of the best people who are still my friends today!

A joke that because a tradition after several years is that I always try to find a copy of Howls Moving Castle in each new country I go to. This allows me to find the cutest bookshops while also providing me with a wonderful souvenier.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: If you have any questions about places you want to go in the future maybe I can give some advice or set you up with some amazing hosts.
Learn: Anything you are willing to teach.
Share: Stories! I love a good story. I think one of the best ways to break that barrier from acquaintances to friends is to share a moment from your past and really get to know each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation.
