ABOUT ME

The TreeHaus is our effort to establish an example of a community of people working together to reach the common goal of sustainable living. We’re rejecting the New York “fend for yourself” attitude and collectively building a strong alternative to individualistic consumer culture. By living together intensely, sharing food, space, and projects, we are more able to enroll others into our common goals. Our collective success is stronger as a sum of the parts. The TreeHaus was started to provide a supportive living space of people united together to inspire each other to accomplish work in the arts, activism, social justice & cooperation. The tenets of treehaus living: affordable living, righteous food, and working together to fulfill personal and collective goals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We like people who can contribute to the haus in some way - through dialog, presents, or skillshares to name a few options.

We have had success hosting people who have an idea of what they'd like to see and do in NYC - most of the members of the haus have busy lives!
