ABOUT ME

We both love the outdoors, and we enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places. B has traveled to several different continents and many different countries. M has done most of his traveling in the US on camping, hiking, and canoeing trips. As a couple, we have traveled to Mexico, Belize, Hawaii, and Canada.

We both play volleyball, kayak, and canoe. We are both very positive and outgoing people. We love to sit and talk with people over bottle(s) of wine. We enjoy having people over and entertaining. We generally eat healthy; eat local foods as much as we can.

PHILOSOPHY

We live for the moment. We prefer to get outside and enjoy nature. Acceptance of the constant changes in our lives and our world opens the door to many new opportunities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had our first experience in Oregon in August 2007...loved it! We have hosted a few couchsurfers, and they have been very positive experiences.

Interests

Camping, hiking, traveling, volleyball, kayaking, photography, scuba diving, snowboarding, skiing, reading, drinking wine and beer, eating sushi.

Music, Movies, and Books

Extremely varied interests. We listen to all types of music. Our music tastes are like M's beer tastes....from Pabst to Guinness. We don't get around to watching many movies, but we enjoy almost anything. Big Lebowski is M's favorite. B does a lot of reading...sometimes even reading 2-3 books during road/car trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sunsets and sunrises in Hawaii were stunning.

For B, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia was absolutely amazing. Experiencing New Year's Eve in Cabo Frio, Brazil...enough said. M loved his time in Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada.
