About Me

******If you’re looking to surf/stay please read the My Home section. I will know if you’ve done so. A personalized request always gets my attention. Others, not so much.

That said, I enjoy showing guests my city and regard it as a form of interaction and a way to connect with like-minded travelers.

Me: very youthful in spirit, easy-going, flexible, curious and adventurous.

I don't go out much at night these days but I still very much enjoy it while on the road and with other travelers. However, while hosting I really enjoy preparing and sharing a meal with beer and wine where it's more relaxed and conversation flows. Picnics are the best and SF is full of amazing places with views to do this.

I like discovering unpretentious places to eat so if that sounds good then hit me up. I have personal favorites in SF I can take guests.

Did I say I like food a lot?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hooked on CS. I just recently (March 2019) took the plunge by hosting on a whim after receiving an emergency request and wound up having an amazing time. I'm still on that journey.

It's all about the people.

Interests

Cooking, culture, walks, discovery, eats, museums, urban stuff, hikes. Road trips are the best.

Basically, indoorsy with an outdoorsy side.

Life-changing book: Siddhartha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I apparently enjoy doing things that seem risky while away - like white water rafting with a busted arm, climbing mountains when I'm terrified of heights, jumping out of running buses and the like. And oftentimes I'm the oldest person doing this when I'm in a group of travelers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A hearty meal, laughter and hopefully good conversation.

Also very handy and happy in the kitchen.
