Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate has been an active couch surfer for years and I've given the ok to open up our home to several couch surfers. Now I am actually joining the website so that I can meet more people and possibly couch surf when I'm traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on people's couches occasionally, but not through the site.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a ghost and felt many other presences. I've been arrested at a forest defense protest. I helped to stop a white supremacist march. I've opened my heart to love and learned to let go of jealousy. I've slept in the hollow bottom of a cypress tree. I've marched in Washington D.C. for peace.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have studied permaculture, a form of ecological design, although I haven't done much practical application yet. I've also studied various spiritual practices such as meditation and energy healing forms such as Reiki and Brennan Healing Science.
