ABOUT ME

I am Rowan, a 30 year old Australian environmental engineer. I am married to my wife, Tho who is also an environmental consultant and we have a 3 year old boy, Ryan and a 4 month old Ewan.
I am easy going, sociable, clean and respectful.
I am also well travelled, loves to experience different cultures and appreciate good sense of humour.
We had shared with people from overseas and have kept friendship with many of them.
During my free time, I like to surf, ride bicycle and race motocross, listen to music, exercise, play squash and spend quality time with my family.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to share the values and experiencs of who I am and where I came from and at the same time to learn about other people's life experience and values.
By forming these friendships, it will enrich and fulfill my life with understanding, knowledge and experience which will make me a better person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I knew CouchSurfing exist, I had the priviledge of meeting many people from different walks of life, who were generous and kind enough to take me home and let me stay at their home, especially during my backpacking trip around the world in 2002-2003.
But the best couch surfing experience I knew of was my Mum and Dad when they travelled in the Ireland to race motocross in the 1970. A family took them in. They lost touch and my Mum and Dad thought of them often but had no way to contact them. 30 years later,the host found me racing in Greece in 2008 and asked if I was my Dad's son (our surname is quite unique). Since then, they have kept in touch and visited eachother.
