My cycling trip from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK imparted two lasting lessons: 1) A love for meeting and learning from people, and 2) A daring sense of adventure. I want to continue this journey as I travel around the world.

In the summer of 2014 I rode my bicycle from Austin, TX to Anchorage, AK with a team of students to spread hope, knowledge, and charity in the fight against cancer. The trip took 70 days and I cycled roughly 4,700 miles through the US and Canada. We raised over $600,000, donating to hospitals, research, cancer support groups, and more.
