About Me

Hello CS - I am a guy interested in learning as much as I can about the world and how it works, in all its messy detail. I have a background in architecture and urban design - I love learning the specific flavor of each city. People would describe me as laid-back, adaptable, friendly and adventurous.

I grew up making music and it remains very important to me still. If you can play something, even better - let's make some music!

I graduated in 2014 from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Architecture. Worked for one full year and found myself feeling stuck... So I did the smart thing and quit my job! I have been traveling and experiencing the world since; here we are today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy discovering what people are passionate about - that's the best way to learn new things. Chances are you are an expert in something I'm not. CS is a great way meet local people willing to share their experiences and talents.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived and worked in the Sahara desert at a bivouac for 11 days with Berber nomads in Morocco.

Lived and worked for 10 weeks in Costa Rica with some community organizations designing buildings and working through the community feedback process. Lived with a host family!!

Watched the sun rise over the Grand Canyon.. watched the sun set in the Sahara.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people." - Carl Sagan

a dash of nihilism and absurdity..

I learn new things about myself and the world everyday

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to offer English tips or conversation as you wish. If you need someone to beatbox for your freestyle I'm more than happy to oblige. =) I love learning new languages - especially practicing my Spanish, which needs as much help as it can get.

Let's make music! (I sing and play the drums)

I can teach you new frisbee throws =)

If the option is there I try to cook with and for hosts - just simple dishes - I'd love to learn a new dish from you.
