About Me
Hello! I’m Tressa from the United States. It was a long time coming but I finally took a chance and traded my mundane work routine for the experiences of a travel adventure! Now I'm on my second year and can't get enough. I'm hoping for the opportunity to learn new things, meet new people and immerse myself in the culture and lifestyles of other countries.
In my spare time I enjoy biking, hiking, being in nature, reading, and anything involving arts (street art obsessed) or travel.
I am looking forward to experiences I wouldn’t get here at home. Thanks for checking out my profile - hope to hear from you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet new friends while traveling. We can share experiences and if they're local to the area they may be able to suggest things to do or see that I would otherwise be unaware.
It's always fun to have someone along for the adventure. I especially love when I meet new people who introduce me to new music!
Interests
Anything travel, nature or art involved! I'm pretty obsessed with street art. I also love discovering new music. Hiking, biking, sightseeing/exploring new places, reading, art.
I love to learn new things. Recently got my PADI open water scuba certification so I'm super excited to continue doing more diving!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music from "today's hits" pop/r&b, country, jazz/blues and even classical.
Romantic comedies "crazy, stupid love", " the proposal" - hey I'm a girl ;) its to be expected lol
Similarly with books I'll read most everything but prefer "chick lit" and mystery crime genre
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting my job to travel the world! Finally after years of sitting behind a desk dreaming of doing this lol.
Cappadocia Turkey hot air ballooning over that amazing landscape was pretty awesome!
I also climbed to Everest base camp quite unexpectedly, unplanned & on a whim.
Oh shit that's 3 things.., oh well
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll help in any way I can. I've done English language practice with friends around the world and even taught in Poland & Vietnam.
I'm open to learning all kinds of things. Cooking is always a fun one.
