ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as a ridiculous person—it's the only good way to live life. There is too much in the world to see and experience that a complacent approach to life is unacceptable. That is not to say that I don't like to relax, but there is a time and a place—sitting by the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, in a train through the Canadian Rockies, having a beer at Oktoberfest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed in Oktoberfest and Amsterdam. I settled down for a bit in Madison, WI, and opened my couch to other surfers. Since then, I have moved again to Hershey, PA, where I am currently finishing up my last year of medical school.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with CouchSurfing was at Oktoberfest, my second was during a visit to Amsterdam. I also hosted a few people in Madison.

Interests

First and foremost, I love to try new things, see new places, and meet new people. I can't get enough of it, which is what motivated me to live in Argentina for a month this summer and live in Barcelona for four months while studying abroad. While in Barcelona, I am traveling as much as I can afford to so as to make it the best year of my life—so far it has been!

Outside of that, I love all kinds of sports and have been playing all kinds since I was just a little kid. My favorites are lacrosse, soccer, and football, but the thrill of competition attracts me to all of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fairly avid indulger in music, movies, and books as a way to escape from my day to day stresses. Depending on my general mood for the day, these can range from action movies and trance music to philosophical books and country music. A little bit of everything opens my mind to new and interesting appreciations of the arts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a person's life while working as a medical volunteer at the emergency hospital in Cordoba, Argentina.
