About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To study plants and meet interesting people!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person who loves to meet new people! I was born in Louisiana but didn't kick up too much dirt there before moving to Alabama. I moved to Seattle, WA to go to school and then worked in the research department at the same school. I'm currently in a transition period in my life as I just finished a series of trips. I managed to pick up 9 corporate sponsors and solo paddled the 650 mile Alabama Scenic River Trail. I cataloged medicinal plants along the way. I also just got back from Brazil and Peru. I'm currently picking up work in Birmingham to renew the old piggy bank. Trying to learn Portuguese!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was offering a couch, but now i have moved and currently don't have one to offer. I would love to chat and meet up with visitors though!

Interests

In my spare time you might find me reading, watching a movie or tv show, camping, harvesting herbs, distilling aromatic herbs, collecting or growing culinary mushrooms, canoeing, fishing (although I'm terrible at it), looking for hot springs, planning a trip, training for a trip, etc...
