Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
To become more tolerant and compassionate of people, including myself! Also, to stop being closed minded and RELAX :-)
ABOUT ME
I like yoga and meditation. I am practicing meditation about 1 hour per day. I find that it is very relaxing. I also try to eat my fruits and veggies and I like everything to do with health and fitness.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live in the moment. Travelling is a form of intensified living as Rick Steve's would say, and I think the extra stimuli and new enviroment I encounter when I travel wake's me me up a bit:-)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Camped out on the beach in Bahamas at a yoga retreat center. It was a great experience. I was staying on Paradise Island and I had a little tent to sleep in. Some people asked me how sleeping in a tent for that long would be comfortable, I tell them it was perfect weather at all times that month!
Another thing I like about the retreat place was the food. The had the best freshly made bread every morning. I would have things like rice and vegetbles, hummus and more as apart of the work-exchange type program I was in. Although the food was vegetarian, and I am a meat-eater, I did not miss the extra protein. In fact, I think the diet imporved my ability to get in shape!
Another main part of staying on the island was practcing yoga. There are two classes a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. On a nice day (which was 97% of the time) we could choose to take a class on a dock that overlooked the Carribean. I got very flexible from doing these two classes everyday for a month.
While staying, I met a really cool girl named Ambika from New York and a guy named Jason from Chicago. I am still friends with both of them.
Overall the time I spent staying on Paradise island was probably the most mazing month I have had. The food, tent, yoga and friends are what made it the experience of a lifetime ;-)
