We are Jessica and Chris, a couple traveling America together before we make a big move and start careers.

Chris is a web developer, photographer, BBQ lover. Jessica is a recent SCAD grad (fashion), menswear designer, wind-up toy collector. We are both a bit grumpy before coffee.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have had a great time hosting couch surfers! Now that we are the surfers, we feel like we know what we liked in a surfer/guest, and will aim to be just as awesome to our hosts!

Music, Movies, and Books

You'll hear us quoting Best in Show, The Office, and most frequently, Clueless. We love documentaries, especially involving Appalachia or folk arts--favorites include The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, Dancing Outlaw, Talking Feet, or anything involving noodling--the sport of catching catfish with your bare hands.

Our music tastes are vastly different, but we mainly agree on Fever Ray, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Sufjan Stevens, and Talking Heads. Jessica hates Steely Dan, just FYI.
