About Me

My name is Trey; I grew up in Wasilla/Anchorage, Alaska for 14 years and have traveled around the Chugiak Range/Cook Inlet areas, The Kenai Peninsula, Talkeetna, Kodiak, Sitka, Cordova and the Fairbanks/Denali Region. I moved to Houston, Texas (North Houston/Spring) in 2008 around the time of Hurricane Ike and lived in multiple areas in the Houston Area and traveled to Big Bend Texas, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Fedricksburg, Amarillo, El Paso, Galveston and Corpus Cristi. This year I recently moved and started working in North Dakota, but had some recent life changes happen and decided to quit my job and start travelling as much as possible until June when I'll be headed back to Alaska until the Fall. I've also traveled to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Florida, Turks and Caicos, Belize and Canada. I'm 5'9-10ish" about 155lbs too..........

I've backpacked/hiked in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Washington, North Dakota, Montana, Colorado, Texas and Belize. I've mountain biked in Texas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Alaska. I've white water rafted/kayaked/tubed in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Texas and Belize. I've Scuba Dived in Texas and Turks and Caicos. Skydived multiple times in Texas. Hunted/fished in Alaska, Texas, Idaho, Turks and Caicos and Belize. My dream is to travel to every continent and plan on Traveling to Africa/SouthEast Asia as soon as I can this Fall hopefully.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and meet new people/culture and hopefully can extend my connections outward especially since I want to travel to Africa and Southeast Asia soon, its more of an adventure to meet and stay with locals and/or camp. So instead of just camping I want to meet people along the way too. I also plan on traveling on a budget for a long time so might as well utilize awesome tools like couchsurfing... Once I have my own place again I also plan on hosting in the future just can't right now since I'm on the road! I don't care who the people are whether its a bunch of hippies:), rednecks, urban city or country people I'd love to build relationships all over. I also don't mind doing chores or helping out around the house in exchange for a place to stay and I'm only looking mostly for 1 to 2 nights stays(don't want to take advantage of anyone) and I wont expect transportation anywhere unless offered:)

Interests

I love to mountain bike, skydive, scuba dive, rock climb/boulder, backpack/hike, white water raft/kayak, hunt/fish, snow board, dirt bike, paintball, roller coasters, I also grew up playing hockey (ice) would love to learn new things especially surfing:) and love to go to concerts/festivals/raves (anything really besides country) and I'm pet friendly "grew up with dogs/cats." I'm 4/20 friendly;) or clean depending on what your comfortable with... I'm a very free minded easy going and adventurous/eager to learn or experience new things/ideas, I love to read and consider myself very spiritual/open to ideas/principles but not religious or enforcing of any belief. I don't really care about what people choose to do with their lives or how they look/act as long as they don't try to kill me, I'm usually pretty easy to get along with. I just look for people who love to grow and do exciting stuff especially in the outdoors and anyone who can help teach something as well! As long as no one steals from me I'll always respect people no matter their beliefs or whatever their personality, I think anyone can agree with that. I'd also consider myself a Libertarian if you wanted to know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Out of sky diving/scuba diving/ mountain biking/ backpacking all over whatever crazy shit I've done Kayaking/white water rafting the grand canyon from Lake Powell to the south end for 17 days was the most badass/awesome thing I've ever done and was also the hardest/most spiritual/personal growth I've ever had being apart of a 6 month Leadership Course including the Grand Canyon trip...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a young 20 year old, but I do have plenty to share/tell/exchange of stories, ideas, knowledge, wisdom and beliefs too! I'm always willing to help out and would love to listen to anything you have to share/teach as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always willing to kick it/hang out/go explore with whoever/party and if I can help out with chores/work or cooking/cleaning too and always want to exchange stories/beliefs with people who are willing to tell them and listen to mine. Or just hang out exchange conversation and leave promptly whatever your down with.
